It’s super simple to make reusable baby wipes to reduce waste and save yourself some cash!
For the eco-mama, cloth diapering is a no-brainer, right? You save money in the long run by using cloth, and you keep pounds and pounds of soiled disposable diapers out of the landfill at the same time. A win for you and the planet!
Cloth diapers rock, but what about wipes? Those disposable wet wipes add up, too – both in your budget and in the landfill. Reusable wipes can be kind of a pain, though. You can use them dry, but they don’t do the best job, do they? Or, you can keep some water by the changing table and moisten each one, but that extra step becomes a lot when you’re changing 8-10 diapers a day.
The beauty of these reusable wipes is that you moisten them all from the get-go, so when it’s changing time they are just as convenient as the disposables. Once you cut your fabric, moistening the wipes – including mixing up the liquid – takes less than 5 minutes, so it’s actually faster than buying them at the store!
